This go-around I am feeling the start of the third trimester, HARD – extreme hunger and exhaustion, aches and pains, headaches, and super bitchy and cranky. Like do not mess with this mama! BUT, We are so close now, and shit is getting real, mamas! Here are some things I have used in the past and some new items I plan to try out. Whatever gets us to the finish line, check it out –
Now, by this time you are probably getting pretty uncomfortable. I usually use my husband as a body pillow, but this comes in handy when you start sweating in your sleep and are not interested in cuddling.
It’s time to prep your hospital GO bag, and this one is a good option. I’ll do a post soon on what to pack in here as well, since that time is getting closer!
Bringing your own clothing to the hospital is an option, and I love this idea. I haven’t down this previously, but I ordered two of these in different colors. I think it will help me to feel more at home and comfortable during labor.
Your feet might start swelling around this time, so you will want to be in flip flops. Might as well indulge in some cute ones since you are growing a human and all. Go get a pedicure while you are at it, since I know its been a minute since you could reach your feet.

During my first pregnancy, my feet grew a size and a half (!) and never went back. It’s a thing apparently, and I’m using it as a good excuse to buy new shoes.
No matter what time of year you are in your third trimester, dresses are always a good idea. I HATE PANTS! Go with easy neutral options and dress them up or down depending on how you feel.
Closer to your due date, around 32 weeks, you can start to use a workout ball for gentle pregnancy exercises, such as hip circles, figure 8s, etc. In labor, you can bounce on the ball or use it move around for comfort or positioning.
Time to start all the labor prep. I am trying red raspberry leaf tea for the first time during my third pregnancy. I started drinking one cup per day in my second trimester, and am drinking 2 to 3 cups a day now.
Another common labor prep practice is eating dates. Trying this for the first time as well during my third pregnancy. I plan to start around 32 weeks, and eat 6 to 8 dates per day. NOTE: It helps to mix them in a smoothie or overnight oats if you aren’t a huge fan of the taste or texture.
With all three pregnancies, epsom salt foot baths are a must to ease achy, swollen feet. Trust me, you will take any relaxation you can get.
